What do you think about people gossiping about weird family stuff in public?

I was at the pool in my mom’s 55+ neighborhood and this woman was telling the other ladies about her 25 year old son who got a crazy 40 year old pregnant. Like is that really something you should be talking about with people?

Why shouldn't she, it's her son, and affects her life. She's having a conversation with her friend. She should keep her voice down so that she doesn't dampen other peoples' time at a public place made for relaxing, but what she talks about is none of your or anyone else's business if she keeps her voice down.
