Niece hates me for no reason?

I’ve tried to spoil and take her shopping but she’s mad at me. She stares with a blank face. I’m puzzled what I did to this person. Is this normal? I will say me and her mom don’t get along either and don’t have a relationship.

She is probably acting that way because you and her mom don't get along. My niece also does the same, but one thing about my niece is that if her mom tells her to stop talking to someone she will listen. The poor girl cannot make her decisions. Even when people were being made to have the covid vaccines, my sister threaten to kick her kids out of the house if they had the vaccine. My sister didn't care that it was actually a requirement to have the vaccine at the time for her to be able to attend college

Kids are kids. I doubt she hates you, more likely she's just acting out. Hopefully her mom isn't saying bad things to her. It's why people hate when the kids are weaponized in divorces.

Most likely her mom. Her mom is very jealous of me and I had to cut all contact but I guess she has her daughter on her side and that’s understandable.
