Mom is blaming me for my sister bad life?

I’m a grad school student and going to be a lawyer as well. My sister has a troubled teen who is getting straight Fs and wearing all black. Her son is autistic and a hand full. I’ve tried to be nice and give money and give advice but these people don’t like me. My mom now says I’m a terrible person because I want nothing to do with my sister messed up life. My mom screams at me and blames me for not fixing my sister trouble teen.

Just look her in the eyes straight up and tell her you are doing what you can and respecting your sisters choices. The teen isn't your kid to look after at best they are a nephew. That has yet to show they have any real talent outside of FAILING SCHOOL. Your sister doesn't like you and you have tried to give her money and advice. While maintaining respect. Your mom should back the hell down. Cause what she's doing isn't gonna bond the family together if anything yelling at you for unrealistic expectations and then acusing you of your sisters garbage choices is just narcasistic projection. Instead of asking her other daughter to do a mothers job. Do it herself SHE IS THE GRANDMOTHER after all.

It’s crazy because I feel like I done nothing wrong. She wants me to be 100 for people who give me 0. My niece has no joy around me and it’s draining. Why am I being picked on? Thank you for the reply

At a certain point you need to hold your mom accountable.

How? My mom wanted to hit me when I told her those people are jealous of me and don’t like me.

Just point out that you are your sisters, SISTER NOT HER MOTHER. Its not your job to be a sister and a mother.
