my brother in law has green card but my sister and he don't want to move to America. My brother is the same. They are not interested moving. I am so alone in Canada. sigh. only the person who like to come is my mother. I don't know why they don't want to come. obviously there are more freedom in America. why don't they come?

You'd have to ask them, but apparently they are comfortable where they are. I found South Korean winters too cold and windy for my taste, plus I could do without monsoons in the summer, especially August.

I lived in SK for 3 years. If you're not in Seoul it can actually be quite cheap. Like living in Toledo with better food. I wouldn't stay there forever, but it was a nice experience.

I love Korea so much. The people, the energy, the views. But I love the U. S too and would much rather live in the states.
