My mother and sister told me that I'd never amount to anything because I'm a boy. That has been my biggest motivation to be successful and to keep fighting for my sanity fighting ptsd from their abuse. I refuse to let them win and prove them right. Has anyone else ever felt this way before?
Hell yeah Bobby , my mother was not abusive physically ( coz I would have punched her ) , but she was completely destructive , without being some low class looser , you know , it still haunts me , so I know you'll do well , keep doing what you are doing and avoid negative energy , your affirmation is driven by you , don't let them put you down.
What does you being a guy have to do with it? Why do they think just because you're a guy you won't be successful?
