yeah... some teachers thought, I was not going to be capable of "much" in life

to be fair though... the reason why they had that idea was because they met a different version of me, one that was absolutely not interested at all in studying, and and younger me that also, at the moment... was not that much interested in life, lol...

so it wasn't because of my "abilities" as I was still getting pretty much "perfect grades" without trying, I just didn't have any "drive" at all

one of the reasons why I quit college half-way, was because my high-school teacher mentor agreed with me... that I would not benefit at all from a degree on something I really didn't want to work on, lol

so I did quit college with full scholarship and "perfect grades" when I was half-way into it... but, I just didn't want to make a living out of that

Yeah, their opinion. I don't let meatbags manipulate me. In either direction. I grew up with 4 older sisters. By age 6 I was begging for a brother. I never got one so I had to fend for myself.

Luckily by age 9 I discovered that they are the weaker sex and ended their reign of terror.

But in all fairness, the two closest my age turned out to be keepers so 50% ain't bad.

yes and I gave them good reason. a few gave me hope to see beyond my limitations.

I never paid them back, sadly, those that make a mark, often don't know it.

Yes, I imagine that nobody ever thought I would amount to anything. I did not become the next Bill Gates but I had a successful career in IT and raised a family.
