Friends behavior?

Hello, my friend wrote me to go together somewhere and I said yes as I have nothing to do and while we are chatting about it she suddenly said I think I'm not going anymore literally that came out of nowhere so I asked her why as we were really planning to have fun and basically she did not answer at all and it's been few days! I am not mad as she is just a normal friend but I just do not understand people anymore... At least say listen something came up or answer the question I do not need to know exactly why but at least out of respect and she was online all these days! This happened twice with her but like I just do not understand people anymore, was it because I was nice to her or something that people think they can just disrespect you?

I don't think it was because you are nice to her that she thinks she can disrespect you. I think she just didn't handle it right. Everyone has the right to change their mind or cancel plans but you are right. She should have just said something came up and can't go or whatever her reason is. Just ignoring you is pretty disrespectful. The very least she can let you know the reason even if it is just "I changed my mind and don't feel like going".
