So i talk to my best friend for almost every single day for almost 5 years straight ( we didn't talk much in high school because we were to different ones ). But we've been friends since we were 12.
So before we start, just a summary of issues we've had within the past 5 years..
1. me and our other friends would make other plans because we didn't have concrete plans with each other and she would blow things up and stop talking to us for months. if we'd say," lets go to the mall tomorrow maybe ill let u know how im feeling", she would take that as concrete plans and if you say anything other than yes then she would blow things up about how we are inconsiderate of her time etc. ( of course we would resolve this by apologizing because we didn't know how much it affected her) 2. she would get mad when i would cancel for a guy (which is also understandable but i thought shed be more understanding).
so the timeline is two weeks
im supposed to drop off something to our 3rd friend and the day prior, we let her know on our 3 way phone call.
the next day we call her so i can pick her up but she doesn't answer and her location isn't at home so we assume she's busy
i still meet up with our 3rd friend because i need to give him something. she calls and i answer saying how we met up and she calls us fake and saying we didn't want her to come and we avoided hanging out with her. (not true and she's passive aggressive). every time she gets mad, she gets passive aggressive and i always juts brush it off because its not worth fighting about. but later that day i confront about her being passive aggressive because im tired of her acting like its fine later when it affects us and also the fact that she called us fake because we didn't avoid hanging out with her! we invited her! called her the day prior and the same day!

It sounds like you've been having some communication issues with your friend for a while now. It can be frustrating when someone's behaviour is unpredictable and it's hard to know what will set them off.
Communicate clearly and directly with your friend about how you feel and how their behaviour is affecting your relationship. It might be helpful to set some boundaries and expectations for communication and make sure that everyone is on the same page.
Also, it's important to give your friend space and time to process their emotions and reactions without taking it personally. If the issues persist, it might be worth seeking out a therapist or mediator to help facilitate a productive conversation.
Do you care about your friend?
yes of course
