Why he ignores my close friends story?

I ignored one of my best friend's stories and actually muted it for a long time until recently. Told her too that they annoyed me because they were constantly tiktok videos and edits. I ignore other's stories too and it's nothing personal.

Yes but it is not only tiktoks or edits they are very different

Everyone can be annoyed or disinterested by different things. My main point was that it's probably not a personal thing, but he just doesn't like your stories. Who knows, and he might not even be ignoring them.

I mean in my private story I posted my holidays , he saw 1 story and ignored the other. Knowing that private stories always come first in feed that' s strange but ye he sometimes ignores it. However when we talked he was very nice and friendly. We used to have sex in the past, we had some conflicts but now we are on good terms

I don’t want to overthink, because sometimes there is a very simple answer and in this case it could be that he just didn’t get to your friend’s story yet, which may very well be what’s going on. But I’m guessing you think there may be more to it?

It is weird that he did not see it for so long in some way I think he is avoiding to see me so he would not feel the desire for me since he know I want more than sex

If you feel like him seeing you will make him come back around for sex, I think that should be your indicator to cut ties completely, delete him and ask your friend to do the same. Yes it’s hard, I’m sure you don’t want to shut that door for good, but honestly what value does this connection have? He knows you want more, and not only does he not want the same thing, but the only value he finds in reaching out to you is for sex. I think you should want more for yourself than to be used, and you should really start internalizing where he stands, that way you can move on. Watching his movements so closely like this will only give you false hope. Even your intent with posting this question is probably so that someone can say “he missed you” or “he wants to reach out but is scared”. The only place your optimism will land you is right back in his bad the cast aside without the title you deserve.

Yes I totally agree I muted his stories so I don' t watch what he is doing but ye I completely understand we are not good for each other

Why not delete him completely? As you can see, muting his stories isn’t very helpful to you because you still pay attention to his movements, whether it’s him checking your story, noticing when he watches yours, and chatting with your friend about him as to verify he hasn’t viewed her story. He’s very much still a staple in your life and I don’t find that healthy at all.

Even if you don’t have an issue with him and there’s nothing “wrong”, by hanging on to that connection there will always be an opportunity for him to come back. So I’m sure this might be something you’re unwilling to do at the time, it’s hard as hell with emotional ties, I understand truly. However, you should really ask yourself why you won’t fully let go when you already know that road leads to no where. Ask yourself why you are still hopeful that he will have a change of heart, or why you want a man who isn’t making you his first choice in the first place.

Your loyalty to him even when you know it’s not good for you just shows what an amazing woman you can be to the right man. Don’t settle for anything less.

Are you simply guessing about this? And, again, there is some confusion about what information he is ignoring commenting on. Maybe he HAS read these stories but has nothing to say about them. Again, interest. You aren't in a relationship with him. Why is this so important?

Perhaps he doesn't find your friend's stories interest him. I ignore what doesn't interest me. Why does he need to be engaged in your friend's stories? Isn't it more important that he's interested in YOUR stories? This seems minor.
