Yes. That does seem sexist. My husband had never changed a real diaper (practiced on a doll in our parenting class) before my oldest was born. He was a diaper ninja! They told us to expect one dirty diaper on day one. Oldest had SEVEN I was worried something was wrong with my baby. Come to find out that was a minimum? Bad literature I think. Anyway, I’d had a c-section, could not get up. My husband learned fast and changed those diapers well.
@loves2learn I changed many a poopy diaper. I have seen things that would make your hair turn white.
Thank you for the mho!
I have also seen some crazy things. When oldest claimed he had explosive diarrhea (he did not) I reminded him of the time I fed him his first food - sweet potatoes - at 6 months and he got diarrhea in his hair. THAT was explosive diarrhea. I felt really bad about it too. Poor baby.
No, because guys don't want to change diapers - at all! Not even their own kid's. Not to mention other things about babies they detest. So they are moot anyway in that question.

That's bullshit. I have changed 10,000 diapers.
@KrakenAttackin same
@KrakenAttackin exactly any father who says no os a dead Beat and isn't worthy of being a father i was up at every 4am-5am changing my daughter everytime she was up. She would cry I would get up and change her and them sit up with her for hours and miss sleep lol tf
@KrakenAttackin Just how many kids do you have? 👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶👶🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼
@KrakenAttackin @Fuentes You two were pussies! You probably used Pampers instead of cloth diapers, which you would have to rinse out after use, and hope you don't gag. Changing a Pampers is easy, not so having to wipe their little asses first. 💩💩💩💩
@exitseven. 30 seconds into your second diaper change you get over it. It's actually something you can do to help your kid, so it feels good to make your kid happy.
@Fuentes @KrakenAttackin why y'all cloth haters? They work better then disposables and are safer on the skin
@exitseven anytime I buy disposables I extreme coupon for them. They are wayy too expensive especially now a days. They've went up a lot in price the past few years
@Apple1996 that's nasty ish to sit in for a child lol I grew up with pampers had no problem so did my daughter
to @daniela1982 so sexism to make men ugly is acceptable? just not towards weak women?
@strateguy632 What? Where did that come from?
What really is filling up landfills is one use plastic water bottles.

Yeah I just seen that question and thought it was odd. Men should be changing their babies too.
My man changes our kids diapers and even knew how to before I did since he had younger siblings. Only thing he struggles with is the cloth diapers because of all the snaps.
And yes ofc I know to change babies. I've been doing it everyday for the last 8 years
why not assume the asker believes men do and therefore know, but ask which women know? instead of assuming odd because of your interpretation
@strateguy632 did you see that question?
How does someone know how to change a diaper unless they have done it? I mean, I could do it if I tried. I wouldn't like it, but I would figure it out. So it's the same with girls.
It makes more sense to ask if you would change a diaper rather than if you know how.
And if the question is directed at girls, it implies that it's a woman's job, which is sexist.
no way, it is just asking lady. he never said what you wrongly implied.
I believe both parents should change the diapers. Back when my son had smelly poopy diapers - first I'd wipe him with a wipie. Then I would give him a real bath would soap. Rinse him good too.
I always thought the wiping just wasn't enough to get it all. That just wasn't good enough for me.
I've changed mamy diapers in my life due to my past and current job (s). And no.. nurture is more of a female trait. I wouldn't care if my future husband could change them or not but I understand if some women would depending on whst type of relationship they want.
So to answer your question... no.
*many
Not if you say "girls, do you know how to change a diaper?" Because then it's clear you want to know from girls specifically, for whatever reason (the reason could be sexist or not). If you just ask the question with "you" and assume it's clear you're talking only to girls because it's about diaper changing, then that's sexist.
select "girls only " option hereadds the word girls. but yeh, reason could be sexist or not the judger is the wrong one.
your question reminds me of the Christmas film where the guy relives his life and doesn't know how to do that, and the diaper pale is a crazy triangle shape. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0218967
I have never done it but I would assume it's something you can learn in a short time.
No, it is not sexist, but it is sort of self-defeating as it potentially cuts out 50% of the diaper changing labor force, so to speak. This, I say as a guy who has changed three bottoms in my day. Not fun, to be sure, but you love the little people for whom you are doing it.
Yeah i think so but let me play devils advocate, this is an international site and in some countries the gender roles are very different from most of the western world so even if it is sexist i don't think i would judge someone for it without more context.
This doesn't answer your question but I'm almost deathly afraid I'll be bad at changing diapers. Like what am I going to do when I have a baby?
I know it's probably easy once you do it a couple of times but I'm scared I might do it wrong. I don't want my baby to have rashes or infections because I wiped them wrong.
If you're not close to anyone who's had a baby, you could try to join a group for new/expecting parents when you will have a baby. There's usually a group like that somewhere in a city. It would help with things like that you are worried about with a chance to talk to others.
Thanks. I'll probably do just that!
It is possible that you want to know this specifically for women. Conversely, I think some people would find it interesting how many men have this basic skill.
All parents should know and do this, regardless of gender, that's for sure.
I don’t know if it’s sexist. For some reason theh only want to hear form women. If you have a good answer and you can’t answer. It’s their loss I guess
I don't know.. but yes I know how to change diapers I started doing it at 7.. helping with little cousins..
Yeah easy to use to always change my daughter back then it was easy
yes, that does feel like it’s reinforcing that men can’t be involved parents
Not sure why they would limit the question to girls only. My kids are grown now but I changed many a diaper when they were babies.
Yes, it is. If anything men are doing this more than ever.
Yeah, lol. I can't, but everything usually happens with practice.
That is sexist. Diaper changes are easy.
Girls asks guys is sexist. So yes.
Umm. Wut?🤔
I've changed my fair share.
It isn’t wtf
Yea it is
Yes, it is.
