How are people able to handle 2 or more babies?

One baby is already so much work, takes away your good night sleep and it's expensive. What about multiple delivery? How can people handle twins, triplets, etc?

Well, if both parents are around, you have two kids and two adults; that's manageable (in theory). What I don't get is how people do THREE. I mean, suppose you have triplets- how are you supposed to deal with THAT? What if they're all hungry at the same time? You don't even have enough breasts for that! Today, sure, we have formula and refrigerators and stuff, but in the past?

For the record, this is why people are so comparatively energetic in their twenties; it's not so you can stay up and party, it's so you can keep up with babies.

I would love twins. The idea is to get it over with and have no more kids after.
