Are pregnancies with two or more babies the most difficult ones?

This is my 2nd pregnancy (I'm on my 20th week) and it's with identical girls. Unlike my first pregnancy, this one has been giving me trouble from the beginning. I presented morning sickness and all the other symptoms, including leg cramp, acid reflux, sleep problems too. I just hope all this goes away soon. I'll try to see if I can opt for a vaginal birth again.

My 1st pregnancy (a singleton, baby boy) was easy and had no symptoms except catching a cold once. That was the best pregnancy experience ever. With this one, not so much.

This is my 1st experience with a twin pregnancy, even though there aren't any twins in the family. Are pregnancies with two or more babies the most difficult ones?

Well having two babies instead of one certainly isn't as easy as a single baby, but the older you get, the more likely you are to have dual children, or if you did fertility treatments, you're always setting yourself up for more than one just so you'll have at least one viable baby.

If yours is a natural conception with no intervention, well lucky you! You're having twice the symptoms of a single birth. All you can do is monitor your weight carefully and get out and do walking or any other safe exercise to keep you fit for a dual birth.

There are far more dangerous births, such as sextuplets, quads, triplets. But most of these, as formerly noted, are fertility-caused multi births, and they are quite stressful on a woman's body. Most such women spend most of their time in bed and always have caesarians.

Your likelihood of having a natural birth is good unless your doctor has told you otherwise. Stay healthy and good luck!

Yes it's a natural conception without any explanation of how it happened. There aren't any twins in the family so that was quite surprising. This pregnancy did indeed made me gain more weight than the previous one.

Congrats! My second sister had so many issues with her first. Her second with triplets was earlier!

Shocked my mom and me how she was just happier and more relaxed.

All pregnancys are different. Some are easier and others harder.

Thank you. Wow her 2nd pregnancy was with triplets and it was easier? She got lucky. Indeed all pregnancies are different. I'm thinking that maybe it can be the fact that my twins are girls, maybe that's producing my symptoms too. I even hear sometimes it's different when it's a boy va girl. Thank you.

multiples are known for the difficulties they tend to exhibit. lots end up pre term birthing and need some amount of time in the NICU.
