Would you date someone who came as a packaged deal, like you seem them as their whole family not just an individual person?

I never understood people like this. It's like they weren't grown up to be an individual, and every time you think of them it's not just them you think about it's their family because they always involved them in everything and talked about them. It's kind of annoying to be honest.

I don’t have much of a traditional family but my high school sweetheart did, their family was one to aspire to, everyone was close. They could talk to someone if they needed, I could go out with their cousins and they were great fun. Mostly good memories of her parents, her father looked exactly like the wolf hunter from teen wolf. He had really old working and in good shape pistols at the entrance in a shoe box. Harley bikes out in the front, looked tough but he was into psychology and worked as a coordinator in a center for the mentally challenged, real fluff ball. I said in a previous post my grandparents taught me how to shoot and prepare catch. In reality her grandparents did, lovely old couple together for 52 years this year. I still speak to a lot of them actually In fact I’ve taken quite a few of them on as clients and they’ve helped me acquire countless others. I’d much prefer someone with a family like that than someone without one, if the whole family is so normal and nice you just know the person your with has been brought up right. ✌️

I am very close with my family. We even do business together.
so to be successful…a family of love and respect is the way it should be.
I def. want to know how he is with his family. If he has to ask them every little thing…that is a no.
if they are a family of love and support and have family gatherings…that is what I want.
single and young… that was me… when I was pregnant… people told me…get all the help you need…I am a mother of 2 teens…I am so glad/grateful I have an amazing family and extended family. My kids grew up with cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents.. NOT… babysitters or day care.

I would have to consider it if they are very close to their family as it would be inevitable then. If I was single again I would avoid this type though because I'm not close to my family and usually the family of people like this don't like people like me. Plus I'm an introverted and private person. I'm used to living like this and I wouldn't want to have their whole family shoved into my life.

A number of cultures are very family focused - Mediterraneans, Asians, Arabics - they are quite a family focused society. It has nothing to do with not being "grown up" it means that they love and respect their relatives, a very good familial ideology.

It's predominantly only Anglophones that are not family focused and... bluntly that's their loss. I've seen senior Anglos making their way around the town here with nobody helping them, abandoned by their "family" like an unwanted stray dog. It's disgusting.
