Am I a bad cousin for not telling my cousins wife someone else is saying behind her back?

I told my cousins wife their aunt is saying negative things behind her back. I used to work in a company where their aunt is my co worker and is mean to everyone. My cousins wife is teacher and whenever she passes to our office their aunt would talk shit behind her back. I left my job a few years ago and its been 5 years now since I see her again and told her everything. Am I bad for not telling it to her right on the spot and waited for many years that someone else is talking behind her back? She kinda look disappointed because I didn't tell it right away to her and said Im not that loyal

I’m sure the cousins wife knows that this aunt is a jerk and talks about everyone. You putting yourself in the middle only makes you a target from both sides. When it comes to family issues like cousins… just let them deal with it and stay out of it. Or option 2 is you say something to the aunt AT THE TIME that talking about people behind their backs isn’t cool and makes her look petty.
