Though I was planning that this should be the last time I would do a favour for her, as a 'so-called-friend', before I distanced myself from her.
Any thoughts?
Yes: Move on. Cut away any connections with her. Giving her a gift will just make her uncomfortable if she knows your feelings.
Just move on to your life and forget about her. No need to be rude or nothing, just move on. Meet other girls and have a life.
You only want to do this because your still hoping that her love can be bought. It can't mate.
thats what I'm planning to do..whether or not if I ever buy this gift..i even planned to 'unfollow' her on twitter and vice-versa because that's where we do our usual communication with each other
Wise move.
Usually, gifts are stuff to get closer to people, to show them we care and what to relate to them. Giving a gift while planning to eject her from your life is useless.
don't do it! you are in the so called friend zone because you are too nice. giving her attention/buying her gifts will make her less attracted to you. don't worship her, ignore her... she'll be much more attracted to you...
If she is your friend that is good to you, why wouldn't you give a gift to your friend?
she is a good friend to me..sadly my feelings for her will always gets in the way of our friendship..thus by knowing that I got friendzone'd and still pretend that it doesn't make me bother about it makes me hurt more
Buy her the gift if it will make you feel good. Be her friend, but keep the distant. Try to go out with other girls though.
friends by friends gifts. a birthday gift is not a favor
even if I didn't buy her that gifts, she would eventually asked me to do a favour to buy this exact stuff that I would buy for her..one way or another its still the same
by that, I mean like a few weeks after her special date

You don't usually buy gifts for your friends?
by definition of 'friends', nope
Huh. Most people I know buy their friends birthday/xmas presents. It's just something that's done.
usually its the girl's 'girlfriend' who buy the birthday presents around my demographic..also our people don't celebrate Xmas so we aren't accustomed to gift present thingy
