Would you be upset if this happened to you?

I adopted a cat from the humane society a couple of months ago. The humane society also spayed her about 7 days ago. She's been wearing a cone ever since. I took her into the humane society a couple of days ago for an unrelated issue. I didn't notice until we got home, but she didn't have her cone on anymore. I called the humane society, and they said that the manager took the cone off because the spay incision was healed. I was just like "oh okay". It kind of bothers me because she didn't even explain to me any of that while I was there. I was gonna call today and ask for the cone back, and if they refused or threw it away or whatever, then I was gonna leave them a bad review, and that's unfortunate, because I get my dogs nails trimmed there, and it would be awkward because I interact with this women every I go there.

I wouldn't be upset because the wound had healed, and they know best to take it off. Had it been mY own cone, I would be a little upset--but I would have mentioned it before I had left the office.

It is my cone. I bought it from the vet for $16. I didn't say anything while I was at the office, because I didn't notice until I got home. Also, yes, the wound healed, but. i want the cone for future use.

I'd call the office and explain you had bought that from them and didn't notive until you got hime. I'm sure it was a mishap on their part--and they'd apologize and return it to you.

They might have been busy or it somehow fell through the cracks. It probably was not intentionsl. Ssk for it back if it is such a big deal but if the cat is okay then you should not give them a bad revue.

Go back to the office, explain nicely that you had bought the cone from the vet for $16 and say you would like it back.

it would have been nice if they had informed you as to why they did it and returned your property back to you.
