I lile kids but I don’t want to have a kid. My opinion is that a kid is an individual and a human being and as such it has human rigjts and with thise rights is even the right to choose but since a not born baby can’t decide for himself if he wants to be born or not then I think that we shouldn’t make decisions for them as we don’t know if it would like to be born or jot and the people who turn it into a humanity case then they fail to see that with life there comes unnecessary suffering evil and injustice so who are we to say that life is a beautiful thing and that we are giving our kid that gift but that’s totally hypocrisy as you are just making the kid dependent on life, circumstances, intellect, ability to adapt, ability to endure, luck, money and so on so we tirn back to the point that since we can’t ask them we should respect that fact and furthermore , not giving birth or not fertilising that egg won’t even hurt your kid who is not even a thing till the moment you fertilise that egg so there’s no harm from both sides to it;and those who say that kids are a true blessing then they are just weak willed people who see kids as a pet that they raise, care in different levels or degrees and someday they let it be independent while having trained them to come back or run free for their amusement even subconscious one cuz like if it doesn’t hurt the baby when it’s unborn as its not even exists ;then in that same excact way the parents don’t need a child to be happy or content or fulfilled as humans are self sufficient both physically and emotionally so if they don’t fel good without a child then they should just damn explore themselves and know it better so they can understand more why they don’t need one and to realise true pleasure and contentment!!

I love kids and have two that are almost adults. They are great friends and family. When raised right they can bring a lot of great fun and company to your life. Kids are entertaining and can be seen as very challenging pets almost. That being said, even the best kids are a lot of stress, money, and work to raise well. So, it's not recommended to others to have kids without being sure they are worth that much trouble to you personally.

My mothering drive has always been very high to the point of sneaking into baby rooms in daycare to help care for smaller children as a kid, helping run daycares, babysitting, caring for the kids of others in general, and even going to college to be a teacher and working in schools. Without that maternal drive, and being very family oriented, I don't know if it having kids would have been worth it for me.

If I was capable of being able to raise and such, yes I'd love to have my own. But since I am not the answer would be never. But I enjoy being with my nieces and nephews. When my closest sibling was over, I enjoyed watching my baby nephew trying to stand up (at their house they don't have anything that he can hang on to to try to stand). Other than that, he just smiled, laughed, played, and crawled around the family room.

Eww, no. Unless you count pets, I'm quite content not having rugrats financially, mentally, and physically drain me. Kids are not for everyone! And society should accept that, especially the twits that assume it's every woman's "responsibility" to reproduce.

I used to like kids, since they were always drawn to me and it was easy watching other peoples but I never really wanted my own kids.. I just had them out of societal pressure..
You are married so you need to have kids..
Now I don't like kids but I love my own more than anyone in the world...

i was always good with them no matter the age if they were not toddlers (toddlers are not kids they are more closer to pet side but unlike pets like dogs or cats they are not fun to be around) i also wanted either 2 boy 1 girl or 3-4 boy 2 girl when i was younger and had no idea how much relationships and marriages can suck now in my 21 even if i want the kids i want them as boys cuz i'm not raising a girl myself give me a couple of boys and we're good.

I like some, but not all per se.

We host my step grandson here, and (5years old) he's quite a delight most of the time. So I do ''want'' them in general.

But I have no intentions to reproduce once again. To own ones (accidentally/not planned, and very welcome) are enough.
