Have you ever had friends who double-crossed you?

I have been there before, and these "friends" were no longer mine.

Doubld-cross? Maybe? I'd say he more showed his true colors.

We'd been trying to start a band for several years. During that time, he'd had all sorts of financial, employment, and other material problems, all of which I went to great lengths to try to help him with. I have him money when he asked for it, gave him rides, tried to help him find jobs, new friends, places to live... I did a lot.

After many guys flaking out on us, we finally found a guy who was committed to starting the band. Because of all of our work schedules, Saturdays and Sundays were the only days we could practice. I was working a ton of overtime and had just gotten engaged. He wanted me to commit to both practice days, which I couldn't. Because of that, he kicked me out of the band. Even worse was that he did it over text messages.

Believe it or not, that wasn't the worst part. I asked him if we could talk things through and I could explain what was going on and that I needed a day off to relax and be with family. He said "I can't", claiming that he was so upset with himself, because he'd made the decision knowing all I'd done for him.

So that was it. We haven't seen or spoken to each other since. I'm not holding a grudge against him or anything. I'm willing to talk things over with him, but I've been so busy over the last few years that I haven't had the time or energy to deal with it.

Hell yeah, like I had this one time crush while still in high school, the boy actually liked me and my friends knew it for sure but one time I was out of school for like a week and coming back I found things no longer the same and my best friend had turn the tables.
