Am I in the wrong here?
Are my wife and I wrong for insisting our 15 year old female niece and her boyfriend sleep separately while at our house for thanks giving?

Trending & News Nah man, I don't think you and your wife are wrong at all. It's your house, so you can set reasonable boundaries. Letting a 15-year-old share a room alone with her boyfriend is definitely asking for trouble. Who knows what they might try to do behind closed doors.
Plus, it's disrespectful to try and call you guys names just because she's not getting her way. You're looking out for her well-being, and that's what family should do. If she wants to spend private time with her boyfriend, she can wait till they're older. Her parents have your back too, so she's really being a brat about this.
All you're asking is for them to sleep separately, not break up or anything crazy. She can still see him and hang out with him. Maybe gently remind her that you care about her and don't want anything happening that she's not ready for yet. Hopefully she'll understand you're looking out for her best interests. Don't let her pressure you, you're just being responsible adults.
No you aren't in the wrong. Even putting aside the inappropriateness of two teens shacking up, it's your house. You make the rules.
The first thing. Do not argue with a teenager. It doesn't work :D (I know, my daughter is 16)
The second thing is to use your reasons so the teenager cannot discuss it :P
My daughter also had to wait a very long time for my green light for her to sleep over at her boyfriend's home. She wasn't happy, but I had MY reasons, and she had no choice but to accept it.
No, you aren't wrong and would do just as well to not have the whore couple in your home at all.
Agreed.

No not at all especially when the parents support the decision. But even if they didn't, it's your house, your rules. Your niece just has to respect that.
Probably go to their rooms during the night, i know i would lol
Not wrong at all, they are not married or even adults, it’s disrespectful to you
Plus I'm trying to prevent teen pregnancy lol.
Yeah that too since you know that’s what they will be trying to do
Absolutely right. I wouldn't even allow her boyfriend to sleep over.
Nope. You are right. Lay down the law.
your house, your rules.
Soo dumb just let them share a room 🙄
YOU'RE DEFINITELY NOT WRONG
