Hi GAG, out of curiosity, are any of you afraid of falling asleep at home because you fear a family member might kill you or am I the only one?

Yeah I had that fear when I lived with my in laws. I bought a special lock for my door so they couldn't get in

I think it's frightening how many women have or have had this fear. It is terrible to live in fear in what is supposed to be your safe haven.

My "family" is crazy and very dysfunctional. But no, I'm not afraid that they might kill me while I'm sleeping.
If you do, that's a bad sign...

I wish you were alone on this, but no. Before I moved out I slept with my door locked and barricaded. I have an audio recording of the family member in question talking crazy and trying to barge in the door. That was the scariest I have ever been.
