Yes and no

The cessation of my current existence is obviously a terrifying idea that I can’t fully process while I’m still existing in it. At the same time I know death is an inevitable fact of life and I will have to eventually face it. I have accepted this, but I don’t welcome death just yet. I’d like to continue living for as long as I can and see how things progress for myself and my family and friends. We’re all trying to go places, I’d like to see what happens when we get there, preferably with eyes made of flesh and blood rather than something incorporeal.

I am not after of dying because I am a saved Christian woman and the bible says "To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord". So I am ok with going to heaven.
I just cannot leave my son though. If I died, he would never recover from it. He would be absolutely lost on earth without any family.

I think everyone's at least a little fearful of death and the unknown. I've lived a morally righteous life, but there's too many things I haven't done and so many regrets I'd have if I died right now. I at least want to achieve my dreams before dying. I want to write a book or a couple of books. I want to find love and have a family of my own. I want to build my own off grid house and campervan. I want to travel more. I want to provide for my family more. If I don't accomplish these things in my life, I'll likely die with all that regret and that's a really scary thing.

Not really. I'm a religious man, and believe I have good things awaiting me on the other side. If I'm wrong, and awareness ceases, well, I won't care, will I? If I'm wrong, and there's some other god (s), it gets a little dicier, but unless they're stupidly picky about the whole "different pantheon" thing, my chances are still pretty good.

not at all because I know I have done great for the society, my family, my parents, myself and my friends.
You know years back…I had this thought…I am okay if I die…but somehow it’s not something one to say … otherwise people would think I am depressed … people!!

I am just saying I have accomplished so much and give so much … I am at peace and no fear.

you know what I don’t like…this hormone struggle of aging … that’s about it.

We will all die. Death spares no one. But I'm not worried because I know where I will go after I die so don't fear the reaper. The only reason people fear death is because of the unknown. They don't believe in God but fear that there might be one and that the Bible is true. It should behoove them to do some research on it.

No, because it’s part of life and there isn’t really much we can do about it , when your time is up it’s up , plus I choose to believe in God and feel like my life will continue in Heaven , whether I am right or wrong , to me it doesn’t matter , I just feel more at peace knowing I will continue in Heaven instead of nothing. Why I choose to live my life as positive as can be , even though at times it can be hard , but I believe we are all here for a reason

It’s a natural fear that nobody’s ever experienced even being a Christian. It’s a natural thing to be afraid of death. I believe most people that say they don’t fear dying. I believe they’re not telling the truth because if they knew they were gonna die in one hour from now, they would freak out.

Nope.
I went there twice 4 months ago for a little while, but my ass got yanked back each time by CPR and defibrillation.
It was horrifying going there, and it was even more horrifying being brought back, TWICE!
There was nothing while I was gone, sweet nothingness.
I wish they'd have left me there.

Now, I have to do it at least once more.

Nope not really, as long as it’s not a horrendous one. Being dead happens to everyone, it gives people a focus to live their life, we all die, so live life as we can to our best and to help others.

Everyone is, especially if own death stands immediately before. Even hardest and most ruthless psychopaths fear death. If not emotionally there are physical symptoms like stress hormone flooding of brain and body.
Of course now I'm in early 20, completely healthy and I don't fear death at all but maybe this will change or it happens suddenly before I can even think a second about that.

No I'm afraid of not being able to achieve my dreams and goals I have. But as far as death itself is concerned no I'm not. I've actually had several brushes with death already including one time where a doctor said it was a literal miracle I was even alive after I had an accident.

I'm afraid of the unknown. But I have faith and if I put my foot on this invisible road, it will lead somewhere spectacular. I think when it's time to die, we adapt to the situation and accept it, and that brings a peace of letting go.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no, i believe in the afterlife but STILL it's unknown to me, how will it be, who's there, how am i going to act or feel without a body, you know all these questions... etc

In the end, affraid or not, one day, in a way or another we are going to die but my strenght is in my faith in god, also knowing that i'm doing my best my whole life to be good with others and spreading, love, care and happiness around the world!

I used to be, but then I thought that I already was in a state of non existence before I was born and that I will return to it after I die. Also there are worse things than death. (Losing loved ones, or rights, or freedom).
