I didn't see them today Christmas Day now he's taking about a breakfast with 5 others or something. And when I looked reluctant, he said "well you must not want to be a part of the family if God either".
For the unfamiliar family of God is like saying heaven, so it's like he said you don't want to go to heaven either if you don't come to this breakfast.

I'd be like, look I wanna get to know your fam and all, but don't guilt trip me like that. We all got our own comfort levels and sometimes a new environment with a buncha strangers can be stressful, feel me?

It ain't cool to emotionally blackmail me into something by saying I don't love God or somethin. That's wack, dog! Gotta use respect if you want me there.

Maybe compromise - tell him you'll roll through for a bit at breakfast to say what's up, but keep it light on asking you personal questions in front of everyone yet since you're still gettin to know em.

Let him know manipulation ain't the move. Gotta make me WANT to bond with the fam, not force it. If he cares he'll understand and back off the pressure tactics.
