How affectionate are you to your pets?

Question

We are very affectionate, that little boy has always known he is deeply loved. Today I talked with him on phone. I can’t wait to see him again, I’ll probably cry of happiness.

Extremely affectionate I have a Mastiff and a Great Dane. Both love to cuddle and despite ther size, they are lap dogs. Both are rescue dogs and have a fantastic life now.

They wait patiently for me when I am at work and are all over me as soon as I come home. At night, as soon as I crawl into bed, both come up for some snuggle time. As soon as it's time to go to sleep, they know and head for their beds. In the morning, which ever one of us gets up first, has 2 dogs gently laying beside them in the others spot, back sleeping with them until it's time to get up.

We have pairs of nice mats all over the house for them but quite often they will lay together and share a mat. They get quite cozy with each other. It's usually the Dane snuggled to the mastiff.

They are the largest beneficiaries in my will. I have literally watch them fix a bad EKG line for me just by being there to let me pet them.

Also, that's a great image. Should be oil on canvas. That'd be worth hanging. Tug that babies ears for me when you see him next.

I spoiled my doggy. I was younger at the time but I loved my younger one, as my older one walked into the rain one day and she was gone. :c Dealt with two pups who were crying and didn't treat them like adorable little puppies and playing with them. Still love dogs but maybe because they weren't my dogs. Just two pups crying and waking me up. 🙃

I had a pad I bought at LL Bean at the foot of my bed. That is where Harry used to sleep. I really miss him. He was a typical aloof cat but sometimes I could get him to sit on the couch with me.

I don’t have any of my own pets but my mother has a little dog. I’m not sure of the breed, but when I visit her I make a point of being very kind to the dog. I’ll bring him a treat, give him attention, play with him and take him for a walk. He loves me. He reacts a certain way when I come over by running to the middle of the room and barking into the air after greeting me. My mother said he doesn’t react that way for anyone else including her.

Strangely, even though he is not my dog and I am not there very often, I do feel a definite bond to it and I think it is reciprocal. I’ll be devastated when that little dog goes. I don’t think I’ll make another bond with an animal like that.

Growing up with cats has been a big part of my life. Unfortunately, some of my closest feline friends passed away recently, especially one I knew for 8 years. It’s been tough, but these cats have a special place in my heart.

Very, when I had one. If I was sitting on the front porch steps and Murphy (or Sammi before her) wanted out front, someone inside would open the door for her and she'd right right up to me, stick her nose under my right arm and muscle her way through so that my arm was draped around her shoulders and then she'd lean into me and try to kiss me! I often wished real girls would do that!! She knew I loved her and she loved me! If there was a thunder storm over night, instead of going to someone else's room on the 2nd floor, she'd come all the way up to my room on the 3rd floor for me to protect and calm her from the noise.

We had two cats growing up.. We didn't take the best care of them, but we did love them like they were family.. I always loved when one of them would lay between my legs whatever I was sleep even if I wanted to turn over.. The next set of pets I get I'll take better care of them along with being super affectionate..

I love my dog. We play together, she loves to play ball keep away. I pet her belly, which she loves. And I talk to her like she's a person. She is a previous member of our family.

Most of the time when I am tired of dealing with people, especially the idiots out there I like coming home where it is quite and be ignored by my cat, I am down to one, the others got old and passed, until she decides I have suffered enough and will want to sit by me or on my lap for kitty pets.
