When we meet in person, my best friend reads me whatever is on my nightstand. He has a deep voice, so it's pure bliss... When I was sick around New Year, he read me the whole "The Crystal Singer" book :D
I like it... but for me it works only with a few people
So sweet. I had a friend, he read me a whole book too, he even made his own stories for me and he was voice actor, so it was nice.
So, you’re lucky to have a friend like that too! He’s lucky for you as well!
we are lucky to have each other... I agree :)
yes. i've even asked my partner to read something to me and it works so well. he sang me to sleep once too. it's very calming
Not since my kids grew up. When they were little, less than 5yo, I often read them a bedtime story. Goodnight Moon was one of their favorites.
I used to read bedtime stories to my kids when they were younger.
Wonderful. My dad only knew one bedtime story, but my brother and I still loved listening to it over and over again, cause it we just enjoyed our dad reading for us.
I read whatever book they wanted to hear. They always had a lot of books

Sometimes I turn on lore videos built for night time listening. (Everything from fiction novels to games I like)
Yeah when I had abit more free time, I do enjoy a good reading while I light candles, maybe play some nice music, and wearing a relaxing fit. But I enjoy it more reading bed time stories to/with my nieces and nephew.
To my son, definitely. I listen to Audible books as well
When I was younger and practicing reading, I'd read aloud with my mom on the couch with me and she'd at some point fall asleep. I only read in my head though.
I've never done it...
but my niece was a chatter... and she would tell me her own made-up stories, lol
till she would fall asleep
You should try. It’s a very good bonding experience.
well, nowadays she is writing and also drawing for some of the stories and characters so yes... it is one of the few things we've bonded with
in part, I did teach her to draw and write... but I also let her find their own way and style, because she is very much herself as I was... something I've encouraged on her since I am that myself, lol
My phone is my master manual. I generally read before bed every night.
I did when my kids were small and then granddaughter but not since she grew up.
Yess, I also really like asmr
Yes I do
Am I a son of a bitch?
Love it.
