Have you ever read bedtime stories to your partner?

Back then when I had trouble sleeping my partner would occasionally read me bedtime stories or sing me songs that he made up for me, there was my favorite song that started out like this “little angel” , he sang it while putting my head on his chest and gently touching my hair. It made me feel loved and cared for and I found it really cute.

He sometimes made up his own stories about me too, when the lights were off and none of us felt like reading.

We lived in a penthouse next to a river and we had a whole city view from our bedroom and it was one of my favorite ways to fall asleep.

Not as such, no, but I did give a few copies of recordings I made of favorite books over the years. It can be kind of time-consuming (especially if you have to do it in secret), but it's cheap and a very personal gift.

After break up I had a voice artist do the same for me, he wrote 3 stories about me and read me a whole book with recordings. That’s really special.

I don't have one, but I think it's sweet that your partner reads you stories to help you sleep better. When I had to practice reading when I was younger, I'd read to my mom. And she'd eventually fall asleep.

I don't read stories to my partner, nothing wrong with that but he's a adult now. Sooo i don't need to read him nothing, he'll fall asleep soon enough. His body is like that.
