Guys, Is it ok for a dad to miss daughter’s birthday party because of an engagement party?

My dad is missing my 27th birthday party to go to an engagement party and I just want to have a guys opinion to see if it’s fair if my dad goes to this party or not? Me and him have fallen out over it

You are 27 and having a birthday party but….. it’s whatever he was invited to first. If he already made arrangements. Then he be a man of his word. If you invited him first then that’s a total jerk move and you shouldn’t talk to him unless he’s willing to apologize.

I did invite him and he said he would come and then he said he couldn’t cause of the engagement party which I think is selfish cause he said he would come
