That I won't be the best in everything.
Growing up I was always good at sports always had good grades without trying etc. everything was a competition to me and I compared myself to literally anyone. Then the real world hit and money wise, career wise, college wise, I was doing the same thing. Constant comparison nobody could be better than me. I realized it I think 3 years ago and made a significant effort to be happy for others and try to be satisfied with myself.

That I'm most likely the last of my line and I'll never have a relationship. Sure, can't have a partner if I don't try, but I can't be rejected either. Everyone has their preferences and I'm of the mindset that at least in my area, I don't fall under that.

You’ll be disappointed, hurt - That’s a natural part of the life. The grace is - not to let those things dim your light.
Don’t get angry at life, instead embrace it and try to enjoy and be grateful for whatever it has to offer.

My dad is age 82, in the same Nursing home room with his younger wife who is age 65 and most likely I won't ever be able to visit him, but also I face, me and him never been close for many years, and it's sad but who knows?
