That I cannot solve? Having ADHD.

For me, if I am not on my medication for it, then I am a irresponsible, angrier, lethargic, and my ability to focus is fucked no matter how hard I try. My meds blocks that out by at least 70 - 90% & it drops down gradually by the end of the day, so it slips in still.

Anytime it does hold me back I do not use it as an excuse either, since people don't treat it seriously, which I completely understand. It is what it is. I'm still lucky, as there's far more serious shit people deal with out there

I’d say just losing control of my emotions, particularly while playing sports. If I make a mistake that results in a bad play, I have a hard time mentally shaking it off and moving on. If I make too many, you can totally lose me. In the worst cases I can have a full on meltdown, but much more likely is me just becoming despondent and inconsolable, and I just completely take myself out of the game once that happens. I hate it for myself and I hate it for my teammates who are counting on me.

I find it really difficult to unfeel my feelings. Like, intellectually I try to distance myself from them, and I can and do think logically, but I sometimes can't unfeel what I'm feeling. At least, not easily at all. My main technique is distraction and focusing on something else, which can work, but I can go into a downward spiral of negative thinking pretty easily, especially if too many negative things happen in close succession.

Impatient, I need to see progress right away or else I feel like total failure and good for nothing. I want to learn so many things and languages and want to start working out consistently but when I don't see progress or I'm not on the level I want to be, I stop doing it and feel even worse afterwards

I think I should work to more of a plan , I can be happy being incredibly lazy sometimes , my productivity could be vastly better , I can be the opposite too , but if its a task I don't like I put it off , Could be , Paperwork , packing , stupid stuff like this. I was not remotely like this when I was younger , but I'd run at jobs I hated too hard , and just make mistakes.

When I do things I expect it come out a certain way and I will spend as much time as needed to achieve that. My wife is the only person able to get me to stop. I have spent 53 hours straight working on 1 project because it wasn't exactly how I envisioned it. Would have kept going if not for her.

I only get angry at myself when I think highly of myself in a way that doesn't accurately reflect reality. I'll start brutally insulting myself in my head to bring myself back down from the clouds. Because I feel better when I'm on earth.
