What was your almost name?

This is the name your parents almost named you instead of your real name.

My almost name was Mckayla. I'm just thankful my mom changed her mind even tho I have had a few people say that name would fit me.

As a mother I cringe at the names I almost gave my childern tbh. Some of y'all know this already but I changed my 4th son's name a few hours after he was born cuz it was too weird to call him the other name just like not fitting. 😬

I have a twin brother and my Mom and Dad picked Casey and Cody. When we were born my dad looked at us and said "these are not Casey and Cody" so on our Birth certificate we were Baby A and Baby B. They had like 30 or 60 days to amend. They named Me after a big gentle giant that eventually had enough and threw his bully through a department store window (Jason, was Casey) and Marc (was Cody, after the biblical book but with different spelling because they wanted to be different) our Middle names started with the letter next to Baby in Baby A & B Andrew for me and Benjamin for my brother.

My grandma decided on my names "Isla Maya" but the rest of the family had also other ideas lol

I could be Małgorzata (the closest in English is Margaret) or Ingrid

But my grandma was firm and told my parents, that they should consider if they want to have an enemy in her, lol...

He was probably joking but, dad used to say that, if I was born a girl, he was gonna name me, Dalitta. Other than that, I don't think I had an almost. Dad didn't want any juniors so, neither of us got his name, however, my brother came close. Dad was Robert Burton and my brother was Robert Allen. I already had a cousin named Robert with the same last name and we eventually found a distant relation not far from here that also had that name! So, there were 4 of them, that I know of.
