Similar mindset and values, goofy, honest without being blunt, boy crazy (if a girl), music lover, great advice giver, understanding, has a guilty pleasure of watching reality shows, does not associate with the enemy, does not smoke ANYTHING nor do other drugs, hardly drinks, won’t go after my boyfriend (if a girl), has similar goals/interests/experiences in life, and isn’t big on political shit…

and well yea its hard to find friends with most of those qualities so ig this is why i only have acquaintances

Kindness. Second, a sense of humour, third intelligence. They must be kind. They don’t have to have a sense of humour, intelligence or good looks, money, class, good manners, good etiquette, or to look a certain way or to only fit in with a certain crowd. They don’t have to come from a certain background or be completely free from disabilities (if mildly disabled, I’ll overlook it). If I didn’t look beyond how people appear on the outside, I’d have missed out on meeting some really awesome people.

Well I’m a down ass betch type of friend, so I like friends I can go out spontaneously for an adventure or make plans to go have fun, explore cities, enjoy nice meals, boba tea, cook together, etc.

Respect, loyalty and a good sense of humor. I would like to have some shared interests with them. I don't mind having different interests as long as they don't try to change my hobbies. If I can respect their interests, I would expect them to do the same for me. 😊

Shared interests help as well but it's not nearly as important as the above traits. I have many friends with diverse interests and I find it interesting because they open me up to completely new worlds.
