Well of course respect, like honesty, treating someone well and loyalty fall under that

Someone who isn't kinda jealous? Someone who can speak up and tell me if they have a problem with me, instead of being passive aggressive or passive pissed
Someone who isn't emotionally dependent on me or attached too much to me, no unhealthy bonding stuff
Someone who I can call everytime and who is also not afraid to call me
Someone you can have fun with
Someone who can still give you space to do your own mistakes and maybe give advice but not trying to control me and just being there for me as a friend

I look for friends who are protective and talkative. My friends have helped me so much during my times of need. Not giving me money but without my friends, I would not have gotten the high grades I did and may not have gotten into university at all, they provided me with emotional support and that helped me conquer my obstacles so that I did not give up.

I've just went around and on with my life... and then I just stumble upon some people that do happen to be all kinds of great and even more than that...

and because they genuinely are that great, then we just stick around lol
