I haven’t heard from my friend, Molly in ages. I have some birthday and Christmas gifts for her. Should I save them all for her? Or give some of them to my other, closer friend, who’s the same size? I have a summer robe and a nightie and a raw silk designer dress. Either one of them would like it. On the other hand, Molly is really busy abroad, with a husband and a young daughter and is studying at uni to become a psychologist.

I have other things for Molly too. Jewellery and hair things. Another dress. She also lives in a small apartment overseas.

I'd say maybe give the summer robe to your closer friend. But hold onto the nightie and dress for Molly, just in case you guys reconnect someday. Here's what I'd consider:
- Your closer friend will definitely get use out of the robe soon since summer's coming.
- But the fancy dress and nightie are nicer gifts - save those special ones for Molly as a keepsake in case you get back in touch down the line.
- Your other friend wouldn't mind getting one smaller gift, while still keeping the best stuff for your old pal Molly.
- Molly's real busy, but maybe someday when things calm down she'll appreciate you holding onto those gifts all this time.
- This way both friends get something nice, but you don't use up all the things you picked for Molly. A balance, you know?
Just my two cents! Either way I'm sure your friends will understand. Really sweet of you to think of them both. Let me know what you decide to do, girl!
Absolutely send it all to Molly if you want to. She will probably appreciate it very much. Especially being so hard someone and dealing with everything she’s dealing with.
