Am I exaggerating?

Question

I just found out that my mom gave my old Wii console to my cousins... I feel so betrayed

Why would she do that? She knew that I absolutely loved playing on that console so she would always kept it safe in my house, and it was well preserved until 2020 (the last time I played)

I asked her about it and she told me that they "borrowed it" on one ocasion but they never gave it back until now that I realized it was missing

And I'm so pissed right now because not only she gave it to them without my knowledge but also, 2 of 4 controls are now damaged :(

My mom pawned mine and lost it which was sad because I had friends I talked to for years on it, and it would flash blue when they messaged me. I also had notes and game achievements logged in my calendar thing, so having sentimental feelings for it isn't bad and your mom was wrong not to ask you.

I don't know man, you haven't played the wii in almost 4 years? and you just now realized it? but yes it is wrong to take stuff that isn't theirs without permission.

She shouldn't have gave it to them without your permission. And they should have to pay for the damaged controls. I'd be mad if my mom did that without asking me first too!
