Can you feel lonely when you are with a bunch of people?

I don't typically but I can usually find a conversation topic or point of mutual interest which engages us and helps us relate to each other. Also I always 100% trust everyone including complete strangers. Actually complete strangers are the most trustworthy people in my opinion because they haven't given me any reasons to doubt their honesty.

Yeah I can feel lonely around a bunch of people because they aren't the people that I want to spend my time with.
It only makes me miss the other people I miss and want to be with.

If you are shy or have little social skills you certainly feel lonely in a crowd. It's happened to me many times. So I gave up going out. Now I'm lonely and alone.

Yes that does happen. But if you stay alone for too long it wears on you. And as you age it gets harder to find the human contact you'll desire.

Sometimes they act like you can trust them but you don’t know if they maybe doing malicious shit behind your back. Your gut will be telling you that there is something off about this person but people around you will be telling you you’re overthinking things
