i won't give. brit celebrate mum day March 19. they give her presents.

when i was a brat, in may, my ma asked what she was getting for mothers day? i interrupted why not fathers day? (that i had never heard of) they explained it existed too.

me: what about child day? ma: every day is child day. me: you owe me yesterdays' gift?

my point is: every day is mother day same as kid so no gift to mother, same as kid.

oh and your wife is not YOUR mother

Nope.

Been no contact with my mother for coming up on a decade. It feels great.

I sometimes take my aunts or other important women in my life out for lunch or coffee.

Might be fun for me to host a women's brunch for these ladies all together when I can afford it.

Mother's Day is celebrated in May in my country, and yes I plan to gift my mother something she likes.
