Would you think it’s weird if someone tells you they rarely/never do something but you see them doing it often?

Had a friend I knew who I offered to buy a soda for once and she said no and that she rarely drinks soda. Ever since I got that soda she’s been having a soda every other day. Weird or not?

Yeah it is a little strange. I’ve had that happen with people too.

That probably wasn’t the best excuse but I just don’t think she wanted to accept your offer of buying her something. I’ve done the same with coworkers, when I’ve been offered Starbucks, pastries or anything else someone is offering to buy for me.
