Question for other teens which of your parents lets you get away with doing stuff your mom or dad?

My dad wasn’t around thanks to my mother. As cruel as she was to me, i don’t blame him one bit. I didn’t get away with anything, really. In fact, she would occasionally beat me for no apparent reason and exclaim, “I know you got away with something you piece of sh*t!”

It's been a while but they both kind of let us do what we wanted for the most part. The '80s were a different time.

My dad probably, but growing up I see where that's wrong. A lot of it was just lax attention and neglect. My mom's actually extremely reasonable, she just has realistic boundaries.
