When I lived with my great grandmother we were really close and I never cared to do anything “bad” sometimes I’d do dumb stuff by accident but she’d just help me make better choices.

my ggm passed when was 7.. With my guardian she was completely unstable so anything o did was bad and deserved punishment. Had to finally run away.

So I never experienced ‘average western childhood rebellion’, lol it was zero or 💯 for self preservation.

Nope, they pretty much kept me in-line which I applaud them for. It made me who I am today.
