Do you set an alarm if you have a schedule or plans the next day?

Let's say that someone asks you to join them to run their errands and you say yes. So you agree to meet at a certain time. It's the appointed time and there is no response from that person. 30, 40 mins—almost an hour—pass until you hear from them. They call/text, telling you that they overslept and now they don't have time to go at that same time (but they do later in the day).

How would you react in this situation?

In the situation described in the question details, if I were the person who missed out on doing something when I expected to, I would probably be a bit disappointed, but I would try to take it in stride and realize that not everyone can be Risk Astley and hence may let you down from time to time. It's a shame when that happens, especially if it's with someone you trust, but things happen. If I were the person who let the other person down, I would react by expressing my apologies, explaining that I was wrong, and asking for the person to consider forgiving me.

To answer the question in the title, if I have plans for any time, whether the next day, the same day, or some day further down the line, I'll usually ask Alexa to remind me about it. That usually helps, provided I'm next to my Echo Dot at the time and there is no interruption in power, Internet, or WiFi connectivity.

I clicked on the 'yes' in error.. I don't set alarms, because I never sleep more than 3 hours a night anyway.

I would wait 10 minutes. If I never heard from them by then, I would find something else to go and do, but not take the phone with me.. When I'd finished, I'd see if they called, then call them back!

Yes. If awake I set one. If it's supposed to wake me I set a few. I'm someone who keeps myself busy, and crash hard at night.

I always do but i tend to wake up just before, some people have their own alarm clock built in. I also change the sound after a while because according to scientists you acclimatize to it and then don't wake up.

It depends on the importance of the event. I often set an entry in my Google calendar, with a reminder set for 10 or 30 minutes before it.
