Failure leads to solution & practice makes perfect & when it comes to certain things we all fail from time to time, it’s no biggie. On the other hand if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail & the next time you are ready to take your road test give it your best & nothing less.
As for your boyfriend where there is anger there should be understanding instead.
You did nothing wrong.

You did nothing wrong. I work for the DMV. I see this all day long.
Who has been giving you driving lessons? Has HE, the boyfriend giving you driving lessons?
IF THE STUDENT FAILS TO LEARN... THE TEACHER FAILED TO TEACH... IT'S THAT SIMPLE
Tell your boyfriend to go pound sand up his butt, and get a responsible teacher to teach you.
First find out what caused you to fail... Students here in CA do not have to parallel park to pass the test the driving test. Find out WHY you failed and work on that.
Maybe get your parents to drive with you or someone that has a little patience.
What Guys Said
You didn't do anything wrong. You just need more practice. Driving lessons seems like a really good idea.
Who taught you how to drive, your boyfriend? If so, maybe he thinks failing the road test was a reflection on his lousy instruction.
Either way, he should have sympathized with you for failing and given you encouragement instead of getting angry. Anger is a red flag.Sounds like he wanted to teach you how to drive. Did he offer?
Is he annoyed at being chauffeur? Is money tight for lessons?
Your boyfriend has given you a very clear redflag and those are ignored at your own peril!
Not a thing, you thought you did what was best for you and he needs to get over it….
you did nothing wrong
