Do you think you’re a good parent? If you don’t have kids yet, do you think you will be a good parent?

The holiday got me thinking about “good” parents vs “bad” parents. I know better than most that nobody is all good or all bad, especially parents. The question is really about how prepared you are and how much your preparation helps you get it right, and how often you still manage to get it wrong.
I’ve been told i’d be a good dad. I take that as a high compliment. I’ve helped to raise more than my fair share of rugrats. But very few of them were in my exclusive care 24/7. So i’m still not convinced i would be a good dad. Rather than taking that gamble with someone else’s life and livelihood, i opted out of having my own kids.

I don't have kids yet, I do want kids probably mid 20s after college. Anyway I know I will make a great mom someday. I have a younger brother and sister that I adore. I am very caring and loving ❤️

I do not have any children and I do not want any. I do not think I would be a good father at all. I honestly don't want to be a father because I believe fathers are irrelevant and always left in the background. The head of all families these days are women. Women make all of the decisions all of the choices etc men just say "ok hunny" or "yes dear" that's not a man that's a slave

No. Seeing how both of my parents are, how they have messed us up, I for sure won't be a good parent if I ever had kids. I don't want kids as I don't want to put more innocent souls on this messed up world.

my kids now have kids but they don't think I was good as we did not have much money But I think I done very well as they both have good jobs and are ten times better at what they do than I ever did,,.

My son's 5. So far he hasn't killed any of his classmates.
