Why do some babies cry at cow (moo) sounds while others laugh?

There are several babies that get so scared whenever they hear moo.

My friend tried the cow sound on her baby girl and it was the opposite. She started laughing. She laughs whenever she hears moo, regardless of who is making the cow sound.

Why do some babies cry over that while others laugh? Is there something special with the cow sound?

Because being a baby is by the most confusing thing you'll ever do. Those little brains are running FAR faster than yours or mine, since they start from essentially zero and have to figure everything out for themselves. While they can't talk, they CAN- and do!- think, and different babies, being different people, will react to different stimuli differently.

Yeah it's funny when the very same toy and sound one baby likes, another baby finds it scary and cries.

no, i think it is different babies so different reactiion. some find it strange ergo scary. some find it strange ergo funny.

True. You can put the very same toy and sound to two different babies and both will react differently. Interesting.
