How do you make a lot of friends in a new high school?

Genuine question. (Obviously but still). I lost almost all of my friends last year because they replaced me (friend stuff) and next year I’m going to a school with new people. I have no idea how to make friends and I’d like some insight on how to do so 😅.

There will be a lot of guys in the class and I’ve only had one guy friend ever so answers from guys would be greatly appreciated as well.

Think about what you are good at and also things you enjoy doing. Now contact the new school and get a list of clubs etc that they have. Getting involved with others doing stuff you like and or are good at can help get friends early on. The main thing is to concentrate on lessons and grades.

As for boys, you bring a girl going to a new school will be a pretty clear target for boys to hit on. It’s being aware that you need to think about that and be aware of it, as they will be only after one thing and if they get it likely just ghost you.

Focus on school and sports and music let things come naturally don’t force it. People can tell when you’re forcing it.

Focus on your lessons and have hobbies, thanks to your hobbies you can make friends with people who have common hobbies with you at school, but never force yourself for anything, be yourself, people can understand it when you force

Nothing has decreased from your value, this is their loss, observe people, take up hobbies, you can make friends this way, but don't always depend on them, remember the people in our lives are temporary

Just always be yourself first! Don't try to be someone that you're not just to impress others 💯 Let people know the real you and those that like you will be your friend and if they don't like you then forget about them. You want real friends not fake ones.
