Adults, Who is the better "Grown Up" You or your Best Friend?

I literally have no other reason to ask this than a argument I just had with my friend about who was the better adult. As he still had to do dishes before he could make dinner and I had already done the Laundry, the Dishes, Cooked and done the Dishes again because I'm the Adult in the friendship. To which he replied "Whatever Grandpa!"

That’s such a difficult question to answer for a 21yo. I mean, I’m engaged, she’s not. I live with my partner, she doesn't. She has a full-time job in her chosen profession, I do not. Some would argue that getting engaged at 21 is insane, but we’ve decide to wait until after my 25th birthday, so I would say that was indeed a very adult decision! I don't know the right answer to this. I think while I have the intelligence and education to say I’m more of an adult, because I rarely if ever drink alcohol, and I demand that I be in a committed relationship before I have sex. But I’m still only 21, and I lack the wisdom that comes with age, to make the determination of who is more adult (or grown up), especially in the face of self judgement, which is frequently the most difficult form of judgement! As, I hope we all know, we are quite often the absolute worst judges of ourselves, not the best!

It’s not a definitive answer, but I do hope my answer suffices.
