Do your parents let you go on vacation?

My parents are very controlling & over protective. They are the type to deny me go to vacation alone & say it’s dangerous & put any excuse for me to not go. Also they would be jealous I’m going to vacay and not them or say my money I’m using for vacay could of been money for them. 🙁I’m 26, I don’t live alone as I’m not married or never had a boyfriend ask me to live with him. It’s not tradition in my family move out at 18, it’s tradition to move out until you get married. I will need hide escape in secret for vacay without telling them & face punishment when I’m back.

I just live with my mom but I live my life how I want. It’s just stressful dealing with questions and fighting in order for me to go out where I want. So it’s me hiding whenever I want do something or go somwhere. & I come home to nagging & that’s it.

That won’t work. They will be furous angry & mom will punish me when I arrive back. And say I can never go out alone it’s so dangerous and she’ll say my money I spent on vacay cud of been money for her 🙄
She’ll be so furious she’ll try beat me as punishment.

Break free from your parents. What you just described is INCREDIBLY unhealthy. Seriously. Start saving up money, work multiple jobs if you have to, and be independent. You’re a woman in your mid 20s, not a 12 year old. It’s time.

I’m going to school full time so I won’t be able work many jobs. It’s program for few months so I hope next year I earn a lot more money

I lived alone wen I was 23-24 but my family hated me as I was independent and unhappy sad I lived alone. And would talk shit of me or how I think I’m all that cuz I don’t need them 🙄 or that I only want live alone to have sex. 😞

You need to learn to be strong and let what they say go in one ear and out the other. If not, you’ll always be under their control and let their comments dictate how you live your life. As I mentioned above, if you don’t make changes, your circumstances won’t change. I’m sure you don’t want to live like this forever.
