I’m 25. Can my parents still tell me to come home when I’m on vacation?

Anytime I travel they always tell me to come home.
I never have any sort of freedom.
I’m sick of it like seriously.
Now once I get married my mom wants me
And my husband to come live her. This happens a lot 🥺

at 25 they can't tell you what to do anymore...

to fix the situation have a talk with them, tell them respectfully that you're a grown ass adult now so you can travel where you want, live where you want etc... and that them being too overprotective like that is really bothering you and you'd like them to stop. that should do it. if it doesn't work just choose to ignore them when they try to boss you around

No. I feel like that's a violation of boundaries. Being concerned with your safety is one thing, but ending a vacation for you early because... whatever reason really... That's too much. Whether you live with them or not, pay rent or not, whatever. They're controlling is what they are. You need to fix it, set some boundaries or something.
