Do you like inviting friends over to your place?

I don't I prefer going to their place just because my place can get uncomfortable. Like there is no AC, my grandpa has his friends over sometimes or it is just messy.

I prefer to have friends come over to my house cause if they are at my house, I know when I'm welcome and when I'm not. If I go to somebody else's house, I do not know at what point they secretly want me to leave and are keeping me around to be polite. Just like, I like having friends over for several hours but don't want them around the entire day. When you are a guest, you can never be sure whether they actually want you there or whether they are tired and fed up and secretly want you to leave.

Trust me when I say it's not just about how comfortable it is sometimes. It's about the experience and feeling welcomed. The more time they spend at your place, the closer they feel with you.

I didn't invite friends over much when I was younger either because I felt as if my parents weren't cool with it. They never were too welcoming of others in the house. But I invited friends outside of the house to have a barbeque or potluck a couple times. Now that we're older my buddy and I feel like we missed out on that aspect of our lives because our parents were similar.

We all take turns, often it’s mine as I have a larger kitchen and dining room and a chill out area. A friend has the best BBQ n pizza oven setup in the garden, also she’s really good at cooking.
When I lived at home I would go to friends usually, as our house had my parents and sister there. It’s hard partying etc when you have an audience lol

It's a huge reason I wanted my own space and have been reluctant to rent my spare room.

I love having my friends and folks over.

It took a lot for me to have and build a space I feel happy in, safe in, and like I wanted to have the folks I invite into my home.

I like sharing it with people who mean a lot to me.

Sure my wife and I do it all the time. We have a pretty big house with all kinds of shit to have fun with. A full bar with 4 bar stools , Pool table, 5 cool arcade games. We have a ping-pong table, swimming pool, theater room, a putting green in the backyard. 2 dogs, a 200 gallon saltwater fish tank and a cat.

We gather all the time whether at my house or their houses and it's always fun !

But mostly at my friend's house as they have swimming pool and we gather to swim there.

I have a lot of friends who all grew together. A couple have their homes set up to accommodate all of us with sitting areas, fire pits the works. We mostly gather in those. People stop by though.

I prefer being in my own space with my friends rather than being uncomfortable by not knowing their "rules" essentially. If we've been friends for a very long time I'll feel more comfortable though

Not really. I would if it was my own place but my mom lives with me and she is always in the living room so it can get a bit annoying so I rather not invite anyone over
