Your Dad didn't got Mad at your Mom, for buying you Heels... He got Mad at you as Grew so fast and despite the Age you became a Woman in your whole Glory... He can see that Physically you're a Woman (that is sexualised in the mind of a grownup), but in your head/mind you're still A Child! A teen, A too young Flower that he doesn't want to see it "fading away" too fast... He just want you to be his Little Girl, until he cannot "hold you back anymore"... Sadly these days Girls & Boys are growing up Too Fast! Like looking at your picture (if is really you) you look like a 19 year old. From "boys" pov you're ready! But from people that Know you... Mom, Dad, Bro, sis, aunt, uncle... They Know You are Not ready, you're still a child for them... I have a 17 year Daughter but i never allowed her... Extravagant Clothes, Piercings, Tattoos, i told her after 18 she is Free to Live life just the way she pleases but Before that, all them "material things, that she thinks are cool" are not allowed, because from a "simple piercing" can end up looking different, and also that can "pull" some other problems with this "cool looking", and sometimes there are "lines" that Once crossed, there is very slim chance or none to Come back from.🤷‍♂️

@genericname85, Obviously didn't get my message, from a Dad Point of View. I don't know what You thought i said wrong? She matured too fast? Yes, She should mature too fast because her Mom is helping her? No, as i mentioned, i have a Daughter too and luckily i was able to "mask her view" in to looking cool and maturing too fast, so i don't know what "offended you" in my comment 🤔... is just an opinion, not a Sugestion!

Purely out of curiosity might I ask whether your wife (your daughter's mother) has any say in her upbringing, or are you solely the dictator within your household?

@EmmaMary actually i was, I am, and i will be the dictator until she will be 18, because her Mom (my ex) she left us when she was just 4months old, so as long as didn't end up on a bad "route" or in jail nor dead, and she's well behaved, and doing good in school and thinking of a Career, then i guess i've done a good job so far... don't know...🤷‍♂️🤔

Having now read your thoroughly interesting explanation, I take my hat off and applaud you 100% with your excellent parenting skills... What one hell of a caring father you have been, and I'm absolutely positive your daughter realises just how jolly lucky she is having you in her life from birth.

May I finally ask if you have done all her upbringing solely on your own?

@EmmaMary, Wow, i surely wasn't expecting that.. But Thank You, really Thank you.. No one seen "all this work" not even my ex inlaws... And to answer your question, Yes, i did it on my own, all the way through... The main 2 things were, to be a good "observer" not a Stingy old man 😅, and the second, keeping her away and on limits with the "entouraje" as A child in to a Woman can change "almost over night", but from a Woman you cannot make a Child again, anymore.🤷‍♂️

    I side with your mom.
Your dad is being a conservative prude. He can't handle the fact that you are becoming a woman. A lot of dads are that way with their female children. They think it's their job go "protect" them.

But your mom knows best from a female perspective. She went through it herself. She knows that holding you back will force you to rebel and eventually stop listening to her advice. So she is gradually loosening the apron strings to let you grow up step by step.

All you dad can think about is what a horn dog he was when he was young, and he doesn't want men thinking about you sexually. But men will, no matter what.

So, instead of hiding your femininity, what you need to do is learn how to be a discerning woman and not get taken advantage of. You have to learn how to use your brain. And that's where your mother can help.

He doesn't want you to grow up too fast! He wants you to stay his little girl. But you'll always be his little girl no matter how old you are. He sounds like a good dad to me, not saying that your mom isn't a good mom, she is looking at the situation from a female perspective. I'm sure they both want what's best for you!!

Bc you're young and he wants you to stay his little girl till he has to give you away to some guy he gets cranky about for "stealing you away" (your husband). That's how dads work.

Woah you’re 13. (Dad hat on)

As a man prob your dad’s age, I’d be concerned with other men and boys looking at you sexually. Honestly it’s gonna happen anyway.

Personally, I don’t see a big problem with allowing young ladies your age certain autonomy to wear makeup and heels (like to church or fancy dress). To school seems meaningless, just to draw attention from boys. Which again you’re doing anyway. So compromise?

I’m sure the issue of short skirts as arisen. I have seen girls I think you age in booty shorts in stores wondering who let them dress like that. Again…dad hat.

I’d also take your confidence in consideration. My parents understood i may get some confidence wearing certain clothes. Part of school life.

Maybe it is complicated, like low on money / saving up for a big purchase, spent clothing budget yet went over budget to get you heels which meant he has to take an expense somewhere else depending on amount of income, etc.

I would say because he thinks it´s inappropriate as he considers something that adult women wear. So he worries that older guys might approach you thinking you´re older than you actually are.

My guess is heels make girls look taller and thus older, which gives unsavory men an excuse to act like they didn't know you were still a child.

Possibly. It takes a certian lack of self control for an adult male to flirt with a kid in the first place. And once it is established that a guy is lacking some self control its hard to say just how much self control they lack until they demonstrate it.

He probably doesn't want you to wear heels until you get older. He knows that heels are bad for your feet and calves, which are still growing.

Heels are to increase the level of sexual attraction you have. A 13 year old is way too young.
