My friends and I hang out but they always seem to contact me when they need something completed or the hard work done. They never inform me of plans or changes or even what are group of friends are up to so I just watch on with no idea what’s happening, what our plans are for the weekend and I feel very left out and excluded.
what do you think? Excluded manipulated or used.
Really like your opinion thank you

i used to have a friend that used me just for my car. one day, i drove over to their house. and told them let's just walk to the store, it's right there. they got really mad. i realized why they asked me to hang out lol. i drove her to job interviews across town. drove her to work. not once did she say thank you. she literally would get out of the car and leave without saying a word
and for your question, she was also like what you describe. she thinks the whole world revolves around her. and you can't do anything unless she wants to do it. really puts a damper on the day
so yes, your friends are doing all 3 of those things. using you for gain. leaving you out because they never tell you anything and just expect you to know. and manipulating you to make you think you are actually friends. i'd straight up stop talking to them
Thank you for your reply i appreciate it because it’s been playing on my mind and just your reply makes me feel and see that my way of thinking about it is correct thank you :)
of course! your feelings are valid and true
Honestly it sounds like all 3. Time to find new friends.
I think it doesn't matter what happened, you are not comfortable around your friends anyway, once you start feeling bad, say hello to establish new friendship bonds.
