Am I a bad person?

Today I was driving next to the beach. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour, so I was going 5 miles per hour. This guy in a truck was riding my ass and reving his engine. He eventually sped up to 15-20 miles an hour and passed me. There are rv spots up and down the beach with gravel around them. He speeds past me and kicks up dust everywhere, and some people were yelling at him. Their were also kids around he was putting in danger. I tried to fallow him but lost him. Then I pull into this parking lot and I see the truck. I just blacked out and intentionally ran into his truck while he wad in it moved about 5 feet from me hitting it. I busted my radiator and there was coolant all over ground. I walk up to the guys window and start yelling at him and asked why he was going so fast. He said he did nothing wrong, but they are gonna check the cameras. He calls his dad and he shows up. He was furious with me. He was like "why did you do this? Are you a fucking psycho?" He was so mad he was crying and the guy I hit holds his dad back from hitting me. I was just sitting in my truck waiting for the cops to come. The sherrif shows up, and asked if the guy was in the car when I hit it. I said yes, then the sherrif arrested me right there. He drives me to the jail where I had to do some paper work, take a mugshot, and do finger prints. Then they released Mr after about 2 hours. The guy I hit isn't pressing charges, and I didn't lose my license or anything. I mostly feel like a bad person because my moms dog was in the back, and flew forward onto the floor. I was just do pissed off I forgot about him. Am I a horrible. Person?

this is why you should have a dash cam. always. i've had someone pass me on the shoulder just because i didn't merge onto the high way fast enough (there were cars coming too closely, there was no possible way i could have). so, after he gave me increasing anxiety, he passed me on the shoulder very fast. tried to merge ahead of me. decided he didn't want to anymore, last minute. and got off on the exit. it was absolutely pointless! there are assholes that just want to be assholes. everything revolves around them only.

never follow people like this. just let the dash cam video capture it. you can report it to the police for reckless driving if you really wanted to.

now. i don't know what you expected to happen. you caused actual damage to his car. when all he did was cut you off while being a douche. don't do things like this. you can seriously end up dead... some people take road rage seriously and will pull out a gun. just get to your destination alive. if people are on your bumper, let them pass or get out of their way. it's not worth it to act like this.

I don't know about horrible, but you're a terrible decision maker and have poor self control. I'd be mad too. I'd probably talk some shit. I wouldn't hit him with a car. No normal person would.
